Go-to Gal Designer Challenge: SRM Stickers

Happy Wednesday! And this is another special day here on the blog because its Go-to Gal challenge time!

On the last Wednesday of the month the Go-to Gals take turns picking a manufacturer and challenge each other to create something using products from that manufacturer. Kind of a fun little hop to see how we put some of our favorite goodies to use. There are really no rules... some times we all play, some times we don't. But it will ALWAYS be fun!

Today we are sharing some projects using SRM Stickers. I'm a huge fan of their Fancy Sentiments collection of stickers because they perfectly suit my classy & elegant style. Here are a few of my favorite sheets:

Zva Creative February DT Blog Hop!

Zva Creative and our talented Design Team welcome you to join us for our February Blog Hop! We are happy to have you join us today today!

The Blog Hop begins at Zva Creative’s NEW blog! Be sure head on over if you’d like to start from the top of the hop. You will also find a complete list of all the participating blogs there (in case there is a glitch along the way).

As you know, Zva offers many beautiful color groupings for pearls, flowers and crystals. We want to make sure that they shine bright for you, so each designer was asked to share a creation using a specific color or color combination on their blog hop project. Beautiful Blooms

Hi everyone! How are you all doing? Life is just trucking along here! Last night we went to a 7th birthday party for my oldest daughter's best friend, and I thought... holy cow... it was just yesterday that I was holder her in my arms... right? But no, in fact they are now loosing all of their teeth and looking/acting like big kids. There's just no more baby left in them. It makes me sad, but also joyful because they are happy, independent kids who starting to explore and figure out life and people in a different way than as young children. I'm so thankful everyday to be a mom and get to learn about life right along with them.

So I stopped in today to share a card that I created using some of Zva Creative's new releases. You can find all of the product details over on Zva's new blog HERE if you are interested. Trends from CHA

Hi all! Today I'm talking likes and trends from CHA over at Moxie Fab World. If you want to see the top 5 products that wowed me, head on over and take a look.

CHA is such a fun show to go to... I mean there is some serious talent and work that goes into all of the products that are made available to us throughout the year. We are so lucky that there are so many gorgeous things out there to inspire us to make beautiful memory projects, gifts and cards for our loved ones.

Over at Moxie Fab World, I got to share my 5 product picks form the show along with a project made from one of them. Here at my blog I'd like share a few of trends that piqued my interest & share a couple other projects incorporating one of those trends.

First up, I saw those little iconic female & male figures (you know... kind of like the restroom people) popping up everywhere.

Cute...huh? I love them, just trying to wrap my brain around how to make a classy card with them... however, I can envision some fun uses for scrapbooks & mini albums.

And strawberries... so cute and can be found in some really darling collections. Strawberry picking season is just a few months away here & with all of that great product hitting the stores, I might just get last year's photos scrapped before I have more. I can also see some really clever packaging or tags for anything I might can from my strawberry picking.

Ok, well its getting late so lastly I'd like to share a few links to some lovely Asian inspired collections. From Basic Grey's Konnichiwa collection to My Little Shoebox's Aiko collection to Anna Griffin's Honoka collection... regardless of your style you are sure to find something you like if this trend is of interest to you.

I'll leave you with a couple cards that I've made with Ann Griffin's Honoka collection. As a classy girl, I just dig this collection. What I love most is that it is unique... and the navy and the foiled papers are pretty fab too. The whole thing pretty much inspires me:)
