Welcome to the Seasons Givings Blog Hop!  I hope you all had a great New Year's Eve celebration!
As I type this at 11:20 pm on New Year's Eve, I'm sitting in the dark with my family all laying on the floor and couches around me snoring the night away... hee, hee. Oh the life of a mother can be so glamorous!

Anyway... back to the hop. Here's what I have to share with one random winner today...

Zva Creative December DT Blog Hop!

Happy New Year to you! Zva Creative and our talented NEW 2013 Design Team welcome you to our December blog hop where we officially welcome our new team members to our monthly hops! We are very excited about this year’s team and are sure that you will be inspired by and love their work. Are you ready to hop along and get to know them better?

Today’s Blog Hop begins at Zva Creative’s blog! Be sure head on over to check it out! You will also find a complete list of all the participating blogs there (in case there is a glitch along the way).

As you know, Zva offers many beautiful color groupings for pearls, flowers and crystals.  If you like what you see along the hop you can find a list of stores and online retailers that sell Zva HERE.

If you would like to play along with our design team, just follow along the blog path.  I am linking to one of the Zva designers and that designer is linking to the next and so on. Be prepared to be inspired along the way!
The Blog Hop starts today, December 31st and runs through midnight US Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, January 1st.
Hidden on FIVE of the designer’s blogs is a Zva Creative prize package! Winners will be randomly chosen after the hop is over. All you need to do is leave a comment on this Blog Hop post... you do not need to leave a comment on each and every designer's blog post to qualify. However, the more times you comment along the blog hop path, the more chances you will have to win.

The 5 winners will be announced on Wednesday, January 2nd on Zva Creative’s blog. We will do our best to notify each winner, but it's best if you can pop in to Zva’s blog on Wednesday to see if you are a winner!

We also thought it would be more fun to add even more chances to win our blog hop prize!  To increase your chances of winning:
* Comment to let us know that you posted on your Facebook page about our hop (link to any of the blog hop posts)
* Comment to let us know that you "tweeted" about our hop (link to any of the blog hop posts)
* Comment to let us know that you asked your local store to carry Zva creative products.  If they already do, that's fantastic, maybe you can suggest other products that they don't carry.
*Hop over to Zva’s facebook page and “like” our page or leave a comment there to tell us that you stopped by if you already like follow us there!

You have reached the end of the hop! Thank you for joining us & have a happy, happy new year!

( The blog hop begins here at Zva Creative’s blog, if you missed the start:)

P.S. Mark your calendar to join us again on January 28th for our next Zva blog hop!

Case Study Week #2

Ok, so are you ready to case another one of my cards. Here's the inspiration up this week over at Case Study...

... it was really funny when Chupa selected this card, because I think I made it over a year ago.  Anyway, since it was already a holiday card, I thought I'd reorient the sketch a bit and create a New Year's card...
I kept the double bow which I know can be thought of as totally obnoxious, right? But it can also be totally fun too... so I saw do what makes you happy. And these bows make me on the card they go!

Want to play? This week's challenge is actually a two weeker... so you have some extra time to whip something up and link her here.

Have a great weekend!

Case Study Week #1

Hello everyone! How is your week is going? I'm sitting here at 11:17 pm wondering how it got to be Thursday afternoon evening almost Friday already?

I'm honored to be the Muse for December over at Case Study Challenge Blog. If you've never been over to Case Study, its defiantly worth the click over. Every week the Case Study Design Team cases a card from their guest designer (aka Muse) and they always invite their readers to join in and link up as well. The thing I love most about this challenge blog is the awesome talent that they have on their design team.  They create stunning and smart cards week after week! Its very cool and inspirational:)

So here is the card that Case Study choose for as inspiration for week #1. (You can see my original post HERE to see how I created it).

... and the fun part... I get to play along too! So being that it is now holiday time, I thought I'd use my card as inspiration to make a holiday card. Tis the season:)

The inspiration for my original card is based on the technique of embossing with craft dies. I've always been a fan of embossing & love that die templates are so versatile that you can use them to create embossed patterns, as well as cuts on cards. So I took the technique, grabbed my favorite holiday die template and here you have my new card to share with you all!

The best part about using die templates to emboss is that you have a beautifully textured card that is flat enough to mail. Perfect for all of those holiday cards!

So what do you think? Want to play along and show us how my Embossed Birthday card inspires you? Just click on over to Case Study to check it out!

Hugs & much love! Windy

... I'd love it if you would hop on over to see the rest.

You can check out the Spellbinders Explore Beyond Challenge: Craft to Win contest for a chance to win a $5,000 Grand Prize Package from Spellbinders and their cross promotional partners!

Way cool! Who wouldn't want to win all of those great prizes?

Just a quick post today. I'll be back tomorrow with a card that I created for CASE Study. Much love for you! Windy

Getting Ready to Wrap...

... and dying up some tea dyed tags to make into gift tags. But of course I had to make the whole batch, so I have a few sets that are up for grabs in my Etsy shop.

Small 1 3/8" x 2 3/4" Tea Dyed Tags
Medium 4 3/4" x 2 3/8" Tea Dyed Tags
Think about how fun it would be to alter these guys! I'll be back in a couple of days to share what I did
with my dyed tags. What are you all doing to prepare for the upcoming holidays?

Happy weekend &  much love for you! Windy
