Zva Creative July DT Blog Hop!

Zva Creative and our talented Design Team welcome you to our July blog hop!
The Blog Hop begins at Zva Creative’s blog! Be sure head on over to check it out! Leave a comment there for a chance to win an extra prize package just for visiting the blog and telling us that you stopped by! You will also find a complete list of all the participating blogs there (in case there is a glitch along the way).

As you know, Zva offers many beautiful color groupings for pearls, flowers and crystals.  We want to make sure that they shine bright for you, so each designer was will be sharing a creation using a specific color or color combination on their blog hop project.  If you like what you see you can find a list of stores and online retailers that sell Zva HERE.
If you would like to play along with our design team, just follow along the blog path.  I am linking to one of the Zva designers and that designer is linking to the next and so on. Be prepared to be inspired along the way!
Hidden on FIVE of the designer’s blogs is a Zva Creative prize package! Winners will be randomly chosen after the hop is over, so it's important to leave a comment on as many blogs as you can along the way.
The Blog Hop starts today, July 30th and runs through midnight US Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, July 31st.
The 5 winners will be announced on Wednesday, August 1st on Zva Creative’s blog. We will do our best to notify each winner, but it's best if you can pop in to Zva’s blog on Wednesday.

All you need to do is leave a comment on this Blog Hop post... you do not need to leave a comment on each and every designer's blog post to qualify. However, the more times you comment along the blog hop path, the more chances you will have to win.

We also thought it would be more fun to add even more chances to win our blog hop prize!  To increase your chances of winning:
* Comment to let us know that you posted on your Facebook page about our hop (link to any of the blog hop posts)
* Comment to let us know that you "tweeted" about our hop (link to any of the blog hop posts)
* Comment to let us know that you asked your local store to carry Zva creative products.  If they already do, that's fantastic, maybe you can suggest other products that they don't carry.
*Hop over to Zva’s blog and leave a comment there to tell us that you made it there!

The blog hop begins here at Zva Creative’s blog. Your next stop is Fabi Ormerod.
Thank you for joining us!

P.S. Mark your calendar to join us again on August 27th for our next Zva blog hop!

Sweet Love

Hello all! How are you doing? We are hanging out, surviving the dog days of summer that have made their appearance far too early this year. The girls had their last 3v3 soccer league game tonight & it was so hot & humid that you could practically swim though the air. We all came home soaking wet and I didn't move an inch... yuck!

We'll now that I'm home soaking up the air, I thought I stop in to share a layout that was created for Spellbinders Paper Arts, called Sweet Love.  It was a fairly simple one to create... super fun to put together. I love to take design elements and repeat them on my projects...

The embossed background and scalloped edges remind me of the lace of a wedding gown. The picture is cut/embossed with Grand Large Labels and matted with a larger cut die on red cardstock. The Spiral Blossom Three flowers accent the ribbon and the tite & sub-title complete that final touches on the page. You can find even more inspiration from coordinating projects,Lacy Best Wishes Card and With Love Favor Bag over at Spellbinder's Idea Gallery. Or click HERE  for a full list of supplies. Yes... that background sheet is White Damask on Kraft by Canvas Corp (stunning!).

We'll I think that is about all for today... it is time for me to head to bed, I can hardly keep my eyes open. Thanks for visiting. Have a great day tomorrow!

P.S. So I am still working on my CHA favs list to share with you, but if you want a quick run down on some trends from the show hop on over at the Paper Crafts Connection blog today to read about my friend Teri Anderson's take on the show.

Are you headed to CHA?

Are you headed to the Craft & Hobby Association's summer trade show in Chicago? Not me... not this summer. My dad just had a knee replacement surgery this morning here so I'll be hanging out with the family. Thankfully there are many online places where you can hang out & get the scoop on what is trendy, fun and new.  Two Peas in a Bucket is hosting a CHA Summer Online Social. They are sponsoring chats, challenges, videos, awarding prizes and much  more!

If you head on over, have a great time & let me know what new products you like. I'm working on a post where I share a few of my favorite things form this summers show, so I'll be back in a few days!

Take care until then!

Zva meets Anna

Hello all! Just dropping in today with a card for you using products from two fabby and elegant manufacturers... Zva Creative and Anna Griffin. This card also features a sneak of some NEW bling that Zva will be debuting next week at the Craft & Hobby Association's summer trade show (yeah!!). Isn't it gorgeous?  Stunning, shiny and beautifully sized for card makers!

And talk about gorgeous... how about that flocked paper by Anna Griffin? It's from a collection of papers that she sold on HSN a while back... here's the link (http://www.hsn.com/crafts-sewing/anna-griffin-flocked-cardstock-24-piece-kit_p-6733000_xp.aspx) in case you want to check it out. Flowers are also from Zva Creative. Butterfly and vellum quote are by Anna.

Here's the quote from the card... its a good one:

Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes.
Art is knowing which ones to keep.
-- Scott Adams
