OWH Spring Break Blog Hop

Hello!! Its so nice of you to visit today:) Welcome to Operation Write Home's Spring Blog Hop! If you are just joining and and want to hop along, you can click over to Stars & Stamps to start at the top.

When I think spring, I think of birds, clear and sunny blue skies, white fluffy clouds and flowers...
So I created this card to capture all of those things. Happy Spring!

To create this card:
1) cut card from kraft
2) punch strip of kraft with double loop border punch and adhere to card
3) cut strip of white cardstock with mini scalloped border punch and adhere to card
4) remove glitter from decorative bird border strip and adhere to card, stamp sentiment
5) adhere patterned paper to card and sew top edge of patterned paper with zig zag strip
6) tie on bow and glue on flowers
Products:
kraft (Paper Reflections)
patterned paper (Homespun Chic collection/GCD Studios)
die cuts (Artsy Urban Die Cut Borders/GCD Studios)
flowers (cameo roses/Prima)
fibers (white 7/8" grosgrain ribbon)

If you live in the States, I hope you join me in helping out OWH. I appreciate every sacrifice that our nation's heroes make every day for my children and our country. It is an honor for me to make cards for these men and women to send home to their loved ones.

Here are some upcoming card deadlines: Mother's Day (April 1), Graduation (April 19), and Father's Day ( May 15). For more information on how you can make cards for Operation Write Home, visit their site: http://operationwritehome.org/.
Now hop on over to Debb's blog for some more gorgeous Spring inspiration:Thanks for stopping by Card & Page! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
