Jacksonbelle Tuesday Blog Hop and Card Sketch!!!

Hi everyone it's Jacksonbelle Tuesday, which means its time for more card making fun and we are kicking off the new year with a blog hop so you can get to know JBelle's new design team! AND Lindsey has hidden a fun prize on one of our blogs, so you know the drill... hop... comment and you could win some goodies from Jacksonbelle Embellishments!

This week's challenge is a sketch (whoot!), so here it is...

And my creation...

For this card I paired Postcards (these rock by the way!!!) and Love Potion from Pink Paislee's Cupid Collection with a little Whirlybird Shine from Abby Road by My Mind's Eye. By bumping the center oval/rectangle to the side, I was able to make room for a lovely May Arts ribbon bow and red Prima lace flower.
To create this card:
1) cut card from kraft (5.5 in x 4.25 in)
2) a. adhere pink patterned paper and sew along edge with a straight stitch  b. tie on ribbon bow
3) a. adhere rectangle patterned paper and oval (ink edge)  b. sew around edge with zig zag stitch
4) a. trim sentiment out of postcard square  b. adhere with pop dots
5) a. tie ribbon  b. adhere lace flower
