I think the most important thing that I've done as a card maker is to establish my style... while I like to try my hand at fun and cute, graphic and vintage/shabby, you will find my best work when I create classy and elegant cards. Your card is absolutely gorgeous! Classy & elegant, indeed! I think classy/elegant style cards are perfectly suited to weddings and anniversaries, but can be just the right style for a special birthday or even a sympathy card.
I try and use calssy elegant cards more for weddings and anniversaries than anything else. Also a classy thinking of you card would brighten someones day I imagine. Thanks for all the creative inspiration!
I love your card. That feather... gorgeaous! I think classy and elegant cards are for all occasions, I think it is more depending on the receiver than the occasion anyway. If I really have to choose an occasion, well... wedding!

I think classy and elegant cards are great for all occasions....really depends on who is to receive the card. Love them for Christmas and certainly birthdays and weddings.

Oh this card is amazing I love it.I had to giggle w/you because I am also another SAHM but you know what I have that has a little bling to it my apron. OH YEAH its pink w/black and has bling on it I may be in sweats and a t-shirt but when I sit down to create I put on my apron and get and feel awesome and that gets me ready! As for when you could use the classy& elegant I think for any occasion Hey I live in NY and it always right to have some of that!

To me, hands down, weddings seem to call for classy and elegant.

Great card! I love the colors and details. I tend to lean toward classy/elegant with heavy touches of vintage. I think classy & elegant cards lend themselves to sympathy cards really well.

I think you could use classy and elegant for any ocassion. I assume you could dress it up making it elegant for some and dress it down for just classy for other ocassions! For me a wedding congratulations is the best time for a classy/elegant card, but they're my FAV to do for any occasion!
So cool. I think your cards would be great for weddings. Isn't that a woman's biggest opportunity to be classy and elegant. And a very special occasion demands a very special card. But, too, birthday's are a chance to let woman, as you say so well, live it up for a moment.

That card is beautiful! I started to go with birthday for the best fit...but your card could say refer to any occassion and it would be appropriate. For me, it really fits depending on who it's going to.

I think a classy and elegant card is more suited to the person than the occasion. There are some people I wouldn't give an elegant card to for any occasion.

I tend to use classy/elegant cards depending on the person I'm giving it to. As for occasions, I would use them most for weddings.
I can't think of any occasion where elegant won't work, except perhaps a young child's b-day.
Weddings are definitely occasions that merit classy and elegant cards.

The first thing that comes to mind for a classy/elegant card is wedding or anniversary. I don't believe I've ever created a sympathy card that wasn't classy/elegant, though.
