Hello everyone! How is your Wednesday going? Thanks for stopping by today for our Go-to Gal Designer Challenge.
On the last Wednesday of the month the Go-to Gals take turns picking a manufacturer and then we challenge each other to create something using products from that manufacturer. Its a fun little hop to see how we put some of our favorite goodies to use. There are really no rules... some times we all play, some times we don't.
Today Betsy, Julie, Kim, Teri & I are playing along and we are sharing projects made with products from Bella Blvd. So here's what I've got for you...
I'm loving the Sophisticates collection by Stephanie... Isn't that patterned paper so fab? And to make it better, I found this sentiment on the back it... "I love you to the moon and back." Well, that just makes me happy because Hadley & I always say that to each other. At least once a day. That's our thing. So any collection that has "I love you to the moon and back" has my heart. I made her a little card...

We say "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always as long as I'm living my baby you'll be"
That's sweet Mari:)
I guess we aren't a very demonstrative family because the only phrase I can remember saying to my boys when they left for school was "See ya later alligator" and they were supposed to reply "After awhile crocodile." Not very lovey dovey.

We stole it from a movie but I say "I love you." Then my four year old says "I love you more." I finish with "I love you most."
Our wednesday here in Athens has been terrible! Thank God for scrapping...it brings some pleasure..
I have two that I tell my husband everyday. In the morning I tell him that I Love Him and when he gets home I tell him That I Missed Him. Ive been married for 16 years..
Thanks for the chance to win some fun goodies...
Great cards and those flowers are so cute.
well currently I'm divorced and I don't have any kids, so no sweet sentiments from me :( But I loved yours!
Every night when we go to bed, she says I love you and I say I love you more.
When my husband brings me coffee in the morning, I'm still in bed. So I always tell him "I'm the luckiest girl on earth" and he tells me "I'm the luckiest man to love you on earth".
What beautiful cards!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
We always did 3 squeezes or three knocks for "I love you"!
Very cute cards, Windy! I love the name of your blog, too.
We don't do cute phrases so much as nicknames. I love calling my 5yo son all kinds of cute names - my current favourite is "Wiggles."
These are so very pretty. LOVE the way you use pattern (yup it's fab!) & the flowers are a great focal point used like that.
These are beautiful cards! They turned out so great! TFS!

That's such a cute card--and what a cute sentiment, too!
My 6 year old and I don't have a "saying" per se--but we have a song that we sing every morning. My oldest gets so annoyed but we love singing how it's a beautiful day and how everything's coming up roses and going our way... :)
Truly beautiful cards! The to the moon and back, just beyond sweet! As for sayings we don't have any that are not cliche... but we do have a little something that is special between my boys and I that still to this day gets a giggle out of my 6 year old. It's a high five thing.. "Up high" of course I have a little fun and get just a little out of their reach.. "Down low" then "In the middle", with this action I make a fist to where my boys have to try and get their finger in the little hole I made. They laugh and I tickle em when they have suceeded.
Your cards are beautiful. So feminine without being over the top! Very pretty paper.
Thanks for sharing! :)
We don't use love phrases in our house, more of "inside jokes"; I say "because I gotta do..." and someone else replies "everysing". This is something my three year old nephew said to me one day when I moaned after he asked me for a cuppy of milk. Hearing my groan he asked "because you gotta do everysing?".
Your cards are so pretty. Love the flower embellishments very much. SNW
I have always loved the "to the moon and back" saying and of course Winnie the Pooh has some great ones as well. Thanks for sharing your talents with us!
Loved your cards and the Bella paper that you used!! One of our favorite phrases (when something smells like it might be burning on the stove) comes from my daughter, when she was about 3 yrs old. I had burnt the peas, and my husband couldn't believe that I had walked off and just forgotten them, and he was making some comment, and she walked in and said, "you're burning the chow, man!" (from the Disney cartoon Robin Hood: when Robin Hood is dreaming of Maid Marion and he's letting the stew burn). Well, we both cracked up and the tension was broken: from the mouth of babes!!!
Well, I have a bunch. But I'll pick" Sanks, toots" (thanks, toots)
That's so great you found your special saying! Your cards are lovely. When my daughter was little, we'd give special embraces known as "hug-a-bugs". Now, she has 3 children of her own, who get hug-a-bugs from their parents and grandparents too!
Lovely cards Windy!! Familiar little sayings have become part of my family! With my granddaughters it's been "I love you to Infinity and Beyond" ("Toy Story").
Thanks for sharing and inspiring me every day!

My sister & I always tell each other "I love you like a fat kid loves cake!" It makes us laugh. We also have a tradition of sticking our tongues out at each other…we even did it in one of her wedding photos. We just love being silly together.
I have just discovered Bella Blvd and made my first layout with their products. What great colors they use! Thanks for the chance to win!

Beautiful cards!! I find myself quoting lines from children's books to my almost 3 grandson a lot, but I always end our visit with "See ya later, alligator...after while, crocodile...toodle-oo, kangaroo"! His favorite quotes are "To infinity and beyond" and "Take dat wit chu" (Dirk Nowitzki of the Dallas Mavericks), lol!!!
These cards are so pretty. Those papers and embellishments are great!!
Super duper fab, Windy!
Super duper to the extra fly fab to the ab, in fact.
Teri
